Important Information for Guests with Special Needs
The Kaua‘i North Shore Shuttle presented by the Hanalei Initiative and operated by Polynesian Adventure Tours LLC (with ticketing powered by SmartStubs) would like to welcome all of our guests and provide assistance to help you experience the wonders of our north shore with service from Princeville to Hā‘ena.
In order to accomplish that goal, the Kaua‘i North Shore Shuttle has professionals who are dedicated to meet your needs. Whatever your special requirements are, the Kaua‘i North Shore Shuttle will do whatever it reasonably can to accommodate you. It is best to contact us as soon as possible for any special shuttle travel assistance you may need at 808-246-0122 extension 2, or have your travel agent contact us. If outside of business hours please leave a message in the general mailbox with your phone number and someone will get back to you.
We kindly request at least 48 hour notice for any request so that we may make appropriate arrangements. Our team will discuss your needs with you (or your travel agent) for your shuttle transportation service and work to meet those needs.
We provide American with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible ground transportation. Our drivers are trained to assist you (or your loved one) with your specific needs. Our ADA shuttle has a lift and space for two standard wheelchairs or scooters. There are some size and weight limitations to what we can accommodate so please contact us at 808-246-0122 extension 2 before booking your tickets to discuss your specific needs. If outside of business hours please leave a message in the general mailbox with your phone number and someone will get back to you.
The Kaua‘i North Shore Shuttle accepts qualified service dogs. A service dog may be needed for many different conditions, which would be acceptable under the ADA guidelines. In accordance with the ADA, the Kaua‘i North Shore Shuttle does not accept “emotional support” dogs or other animals as service animals.
Every person with a challenge or disability is different and you are the best judge of any special assistance you may require. If we are doing more or less than you need, please let us know.
Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) and enjoy your visit to the beautiful north shore of Kaua‘i!
